Hello! My name is Shaquetta Williams (we’ll worry about pronunciation later). I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Alabama and owner of Safe Space Therapy & Consulting, LLC. I am also fully licensed in Tennessee and Virginia, and my practice is registered in FL as a telehealth provider. I am committed and dedicated to helping you through this challenging time.

I have been in the field for 8 years and counting! I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Alabama-Huntsville in 2014 and my Masters in Social Work from Walden University in 2018. I was licensed shortly after on the Masters level then Clinical level.

I have experience in multiple areas ranging from young children all the way through geriatrics. I have extensive experience in crisis, trauma, child abuse/neglect, foster care/adoptions, hospice care, and geriatric care, case management, and also consulting which can be on any mental health topic in my specialty.

I specialize in life transitions/adjustments, domestic/intimate partner violence, and military life.

I pride myself on being able to relate to the single parent, working parent, partner to someone who served in the military, and also those with loved ones experiencing mental illness, PTSD, and chronic conditions.
